Boots/Shoes for Dancing

Leather soles are probably best as you need to be able to slide a little during the two step, etc. Shoes made with other materials (rubber soles) may grip the floor more than you want and may cause your knees to hurt, etc.

Note: These days there are a lot of cowboy boots that have rubber soles rather than leather. For dancing you probably want the cowboy boots with leather soles.

Your Dance Shoes and Minnesota Winter

During winter many folks carry thier dancing boots/shoes from the car and change into them once they are at the dance. This keeps the dance floor nice as the melting snow and chemicals don't make the dance floor very nice.

2-Step Minneapolis

2StepMSP. A group of GLBT dancers and their friends. This is open to everyone - no club dues to pay, no organization to belong to.
